Hot Rod is a thrilling flow trail nestled in the alpine terrain of Coronet Peak, offering panoramic views over Queenstown. Dropping into Morning Glory from Coronet Peak Road at the end of Rude Rock will lead you straight to Rude Rock. The trail begins with a series of berms and rollers that build momentum, leading into sections with tighter corners and occasional technical features.
The trail’s design emphasizes flow, with smooth transitions and well-maintained surfaces that encourage speed and control. Riders can expect a mix of open alpine vistas and shaded forest sections, enhancing the overall riding experience.
The final trail on “The Dirty Four” route, starting at the tip of Coronet Peak on Dirt Serpent, into Rude Rock, Morning Glory and Hot Rod, you’ll be tired, sweaty and satisfied at the end of this iconic route.
