7 Mile is Queenstown’s most popular cross country trail network. After 5pm this place is heaving with locals.

All built and maintained by the QMTBC!

Getting transport to the 7 mile – options:

  1. Drop off at the top of Gold Digger:
    1. Climb the short gravel road to Moke Lake and continue on the Lake Dispute track, down Phoenix and across to Wilson’s Bay and climb into the 7 mile trail network.
    2. Descent Gold Digger trail, then cross the road into  a fun flowing descent on B.O.B down to the lake, then traverse and climb up the DOC walking track into the 7 mile trail network.
  2. Drop off on Lake Dispute Road where you would climb to Phoenix. Giving you an fun meandering  descent down into Wilson’s Bay where the 7 mile trails start.
  3.  Drop off at 7 Mile trail start in Wilson’s Bay.

Downloading trail forks app in advance will help you navigate the trails, or if you like paper support the locals and purchase a QMTBC trail map from any bike shop


What is included in your 1 Way Transport to MTB tracks:

  • Transport from Queenstown to 7 mile trail network (Gold Digger or Wilson Bay start)
  • Local knowledge  to get you where you want to go


  • 9am departure from Queenstown
  • 9:20am drop off at either Gold Digger Track or Wilson’s Bay
  • If you’d like return transport we offer a shuttle back at 12pm. (pre arranged only)

Departure Times:

  • Half Day 9am   
  • Full day 9am
  • Return transport from 7 mile Wilsons Bay – 12pm

Our  online booking system only give a 9am departure for the One Way Transfer however with a simple inquiry we are happy to be flexible for customers as best as possible. Give us a call if 9am is not suited.

  • E-Bike 1/2 day rental – $99
  • E-Bike full day rental – $150
  • Return transport – $25

All bike rentals include  insurance, helmet and safety gear as requested.
