Endless Descents 7 Day Downhill

Endless Descents 7 Day Downhill

Endless Descents 7 Day Downhill 2048 1365 QTBT

This trip brought together all the favorite downhill trails around Queenstown, along with some out-of-town gems that riders were stoked to discover. Skyline, Cardrona, shuttles of the classics, and even the option of a heli drop made it a gravity-fueled week to remember.

Our 7-Day Downhill Adventure was built for riders who lived for gravity and it delivered from day one. Across a week we hit Queenstown’s most iconic descents, mixed in hidden gems, and capped it off with alpine bike parks that pushed everyone’s skills and stamina.

The trip began straight from the airport with evening Skyline laps, the perfect warm-up. Day two doubled down: more Skyline laps, shuttles of Wynyard and the gnarly Remarks DH tracks, finishing at Mini Dream for a big send. Day three took us to Clyde, a raw, rocky paradise where loose terrain and steep chutes kept riders on their toes. Day four returned to Skyline for a full day of gondola laps, mixing flow trails and tech lines until the arms gave out.

Day five was the locals’ classic Rude Rock, Skippers, and Zoot before finishing with one big descent down Corotown to Arrowtown and a celebratory pub stop. Day six shifted to Cardrona Bike Park, where alpine chairlift laps and the legendary Peak to Pub made for an unforgettable finale.

By day seven, it was airport transfers and tired smiles everyone left dusty, sore, and stoked after a week that proved why Queenstown and Central Otago are downhill meccas.
