This trip was pure singletrack bliss – a mix of rocks, roots, epic descents, and unexplored terrain that showed off the very best of our biking mecca. Riders enjoyed a seamless blend of shuttles, guided trips, and drop-offs, with nine nights of accommodation included to make the adventure effortless.
Our 10-Day Singletrack Heaven adventure was all about chasing variety. From iconic Queenstown descents to hidden Central Otago gems, a trip where every day offered something new to ride. With nine nights of accommodation included and every detail covered, riders could focus entirely on the trails, the views, and the good times.
The journey began in true Queenstown style: an airport pickup that rolled straight into a sunset ride at Coronet Peak. Dropping down Coronet XC and Corotown before finishing at the Arrowtown pub set the perfect tone for the days ahead. Day two kept the energy high with laps at New Zealand’s first-ever bike park, complete with gondola access and trails that mixed flow, tech, and incredible views over Queenstown.
By day three, it was all about classic shuttles, Rude Rock, Zoot, and Skippers before wrapping up with another Coronet session to finish the day strong. Then came the high alpine terrain of Cardrona Bike Park on day four, capped off with the famous Peak to Pub descent, a ride that went from mountain summit to lakeside in one epic push.
Day five offered the choice to recover or explore Wanaka’s scenic trails, a welcome balance before diving back into the action. Day six was pure gravity: gondola laps on Skyline’s Bob’s Peak, mixing machine-built jump lines with rooty, technical DH tracks. On day seven, the crew traveled to Alexandra for a guided mission on trails that felt like riding the surface of the moon, raw, rocky, and totally unique.
As the trip wound down, day eight delivered more classic Queenstown singletrack, exploring 7 Mile and Moke Lake with the support van on hand for drop-offs and pickups. Day nine was a final indulgence in Skyline Bike Park, squeezing in as many laps as possible before legs and arms gave out. Finally, day ten brought an airport drop-off and the bittersweet close to a trip that had packed in everything from high-speed flow to rugged backcountry adventure.
It was the kind of trip that defined what Queenstown and Central Otago riding is all about: big descents, world-class terrain, hidden gems, and the joy of stringing it all together into one seamless adventure.
